Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sunglasses Deals 2026

Short version: the premium brands — Oakley, Ray-Ban, Costa, Bajío, Maui Jim, Smith — have run documented Black Friday promotions in past years, mostly on select or current styles rather than sitewide, and that is the tier where waiting until late November has historically paid. The budget Amazon brands that fill the rest of this site were already cheap, and we could not document a brand-run Black Friday event for most of them — if you need a $30 pair, buy it when you need it.

This page exists because "Black Friday sunglasses deals" pages are, as a genre, mostly invented: a percentage nobody can source, a countdown timer, and a list of whatever pays best. We do not do that. Every figure below is a documented number from a named source for a specific past year, the live prices on this page come from Amazon's API and vanish when they are more than 48 hours old, and the deals section will contain real, verified deals or nothing. Our editorial policy is the same in November as it is in September.

What historically discounts for Black Friday — and what rarely does

Here is what we could verify, brand by brand, from the brands' own pages and from deal-tracking sites that archive past events. Where a brand's page was a placeholder or would not load, we say so instead of filling the gap.

Brands with a documented Black Friday event

• Oakley.In 2025 Oakley's event offered 30% off most current, full-priced sunglasses, eyeglasses and goggles, with 50% off select clearance, member early access to November 20 and the public sale from November 21 through Cyber Monday; some newly released products were excluded. The same tracker archives Oakley sales back to 2014, so this is a pattern, not a one-off (source).
• Costa Del Mar.In 2025 Costa ran up to 50% off select sunglasses, with most discounted styles between 20% and 50%, member early access to November 20, public from November 21 through Cyber Monday. Excluded: new arrivals, limited editions, custom frames. The tracker notes the timing followed previous years and archives 2019–2024 (source).
• Bajío.Bajío's own Black Friday page advertises 30% off select styles and a free pair of silicone keepers with a full-price purchase; the page does not state a year or dates (source).
• Tifosi.Tifosi's own post dated November 28, 2025 announced up to 25% off for Black Friday (source). On a mid-price sport pair that is real but modest money; see the buy-now-or-wait section.
• Smith. The most recent event we could document in detail is 2023: 20% off a full-priced pair and up to 50% off sale-priced gear, US and Canada (source). Smith's current Black Friday collection page is a placeholder with no terms (source).
• Ray-Ban.Ray-Ban is owned by the same company as Oakley and runs a Black Friday page on its own site; that page would not load for us, so we are not quoting its terms. Treat Ray-Ban as "runs an event, details unverified by us."
• Maui Jim.Maui Jim's site lists a Cyber Week offer page and a sale page for select styles; neither would load for us, so we are not quoting a percentage. A third-party aggregator states only that Maui Jim tends to run some of its best deals of the year around Black Friday (source). We would not wait on Maui Jim expecting a deep cut on a core style.
• goodr.goodr keeps a Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale collection on its own site, headlined "up to 40% off," but at the time of writing it shows no active sale and no terms (source). A goodr.com sale does not automatically change the Amazon price on this page.
• Knockaround. Knockaround also keeps a Black Friday collection; at the time of writing it shows a 20% sitewide code with no Black Friday terms (source).

What rarely discounts, or where we could not find a brand-run event

The Amazon-native budget brands — SOJOS, SUNGAIT, DUCO, TOREGE, Duduma, KastKing, ROCKBROS, ATTCL, PolarSpex — do not run brand-level Black Friday events that we could document. Their prices move with Amazon's own promotions and coupons, which are unpredictable and short-lived. These pairs are already the value tier; a Black Friday saving on a $25 pair is lunch money, and the pair you need in October is worth more than the few dollars you might save in November.

One more honest observation from our own data: several Ray-Ban and Oakley listings on Amazon hide their price until checkout, which the Creators API reports as "in stock, no price." That is a sign of tight brand price control. It means the brand's own Black Friday event is where those discounts appear, and Amazon may or may not follow.

Buy now or wait for November? By product class

• Premium lifestyle and sport (Oakley, Ray-Ban, Costa, Bajío, Smith): Wait, if you can.This is the tier with documented, repeated events on current styles, and the dollar saving is meaningful. Sign up for the brand's email list in October — the 2025 Oakley and Costa events both ran member-only early access before the public sale. Watch for "new arrivals excluded": if the pair you want launched this year, it may not be included.
• Maui Jim: Buy when you need it.We could not document a percentage, and the brand's own offers appear to be on select styles or gifts with purchase. Waiting for a deep cut on a core PolarizedPlus2 style is a bet, not a plan.
• Mid-price sport (Tifosi, Native, KOO, Julbo, 100%): Either. Tifosi's documented 2025 event was up to 25%; on a Rail XC that is a modest saving on a pair the recipient can use now. If it is a gift for late December, waiting costs nothing. If the ride season is now, buy now.
• Budget Amazon brands (under $50): Buy now. No documented brand event, small absolute savings, and the risk that a specific listing sells through or changes before November.
• Accessories (retainers, cases, cloths): Buy now. Nobody waits three months to save a dollar on a cleaning cloth.
